Default Rebuilding AC Climate Control Unit for 1992 SC300

I live in Miami, FL. It's HOT as f***.
When I bought this SC300, the previous owner said that it just needed to be plugged but he was wrong, and the AC climate control unit was already plugged. I checked the connection and it was on good.

I guess this AC climate control unit that I have is not working at all.

Is there a way I can rebuild the Climate Control unit?

Does anyone know how much are these brand new at the Lexus Dealership?

All Help Is Appreciated!

PS - I've tried finding it locally from SC300 parts car and I've haven't found any at all.

I know everytime I drove the car at night, there were no lights lit at all on the AC Climate control unit.

You're going to do some more investigation. The harness could be faulty or the a/c control unit itself. Why not take it to an a/c shop and ask them to check it out?

As far as 'rebuilding' the a/c unit is concerned - probably best to buy a used one from an auction site and swap it for the old one.

it could be your led is bad.. its pretty common for the old lexus model's led to bleed or go out... If you dont see ANY light its probably the whole unit, but if you can see a little bit it should be the bleeding

check with aliga if he has anymore climate unit, i just bought one from him couple days ago

i'd make sure you have power at the plug. if so, pick one up from aliga.

lextech can rebuild them if its blowing air and just doesn't have any lights.

I rebuild my climate control and ordered my parts from EBAY at $125.00 dollars. My climate controls now works better than new. I also put LEDs for my lights. I do not recommend this unless you have very good electrical skills.

There is also a service on eBay that rebuilds ENTIRELY for 99. They guarantee for a lifetime. I just used it. GREAT service. They replace screen with glass, and repair everything.
