These are my plans:
2jzgte w/ v160 both from supra
Carbonetics clutch
Hks 272 cams
Titan cam gears
Haltech ps 2000
Custom intake and exhaust manifolds
4" exhaust
pt7076 turbo from precision
Injector dynamic id1000 injectors
Precision intercooler
Harness by tweak
Supra tt rear end and drivers side axle
2 Bosch pumps inline
Aeromotive fpr
Mack boost solenoid
5 bar map sensor
I'm leaving a few things out but 15k later I should be in the 850 hp range.....

No Sir. The 1JZ and the 2JZ came in many different chassis. In order to accomplish this versatility Toyota has to modify the engines. Some engines have mechanical fans, some engines have front-sump oil pans, some have shorter brackets, etc.
In order for the block to fit your chassis it needs to have the appropriate accessories.
A Chaser 1JZ is front-sump. A Soarer 1JZ is rear-sump.
If you bought a Chaser 1JZ you need to change the oil pan.
Aristo 2JZ vs. Supra 2JZ is the exact same-way.

I never wanted na-t due to overall cost of the power numbers I'm trying to reach, I might as well start off with the RIGHT foundation. GTE all the way. I won't start my build thread until I have 90% of my parts in. I'll keep everyone posted!

i say 6spd is overrated and i dont like it. go aristo and r154. fuel pump go mk4 tt, you need rear sump. you need ur ge mounts and need to be modded for clearance for the gte, get new plugs, ngk bkr7eix, do mk4tt water pump (whole pump), u need intercooler your gonna geed mk3turbo front part of drive shaft for the r154, i suggest a beefy clutch, upgrade the radiator to alum and better cap, new thermostat, new vac lines, exhaust needs to be redone, r154 shifter handle extension or actual housing extension both do the same thing one is waste of time and money. timing belt is recommended, and i say go electric rad fan as well DONT FORGET 12V fuel pump mod.
and search iv covered this 1000 times.

At the risk of being a noob....I have an 01 is300 automatic. ...I was told an aristo swap would be better to do...as I would not have do a tranny conversion...I was wondering what the differences are between a supra 2jz-gte and an aristo...which has stronger internals...I really want a standard tranny...how much work would a tranny conversion entail....any info will help...thx
