Default Anyone do anything creative with running lights?

Im talking about the ones in the headlight housing. I just got some M4 polargs for my sidemarkers and I now realize how ugly the running lights are in the headlight housings.

I also thing it takes away from the beauty of the projector in itself. Instead of this single beam, its now this blubbery hue of ugly light.

I was thinking on what can be done with these lights... besides getting new bulbs...? what about a running light in the highbeams? too gs or taboo?

anyways, let me know your inputs...

Ugly ^

all of mine are LED's now... I put 1156 LED's in the lower cornering lights and wired them to stay on with the side markers... I also installed some 194 LED's into the high beam housing as well, so, all the front lights are lit up all the time...

I'll get some pics when I get her washed...

1156 LED's mounted in the lower cornering lights, 194 LED's mounted in factory location in headlamp housing, and 194 LED's custom mounted in high beam housing Sylvania Silverstars mounted in turn signals... the 194's and 1156's are all now wired to come on with the parking lights...

here's some pics...

I really like how the high beams look. Nice, clean circles. I would actually like to try to see having my high beams as the low beams with a different bulb with no other light on. I think it would look really good.

sorry for bringing up an old thread but...
how did you get the bulb in the highbeam? did you drill a hole at the bottom? and how did you get it to stay in without it moving around?

drill the hole, use a dremel to make the appropriate notches - you can get the sockets at any auto parts store... mark the notches, dremel them out, then they fit like OEM bulbs to...
