Just the whole experience I got while I was there, they told me that my rear brakes were completely seized, they said they were worried about my safety and that my rear brakes were completely seized. I didn't have the extra $900 for them to replace so I took the car home and the brakes were fine I took my wheels off and pushed the pistons in and checked the brakes and they were fine, not seized at all. They said my tires should be replaced, my tires have maybe 40/50% tread left and they said they needed replaced months ago
How would you know that they were asking you to fix things that didn't need repair. Is it possible that they were just recommending preventative maintenance, like belts or leaking seals or worn bushings? I use them and have never had an issue with the service department. Thanks. Regards. Ned.

ES300_NJ, I've been going to Lexus of Bridgewater for over 15 years.. All three RXs were purchased from them. I've had the same SA since basically day one. She's the absolute best. The service manager is also a great guy. I've known him for around 10 years. There are eight dealers closer to me but I won't go anywhere else. My experience with northern NJ dealers in general (not just Lexus) has not been very positive. Central and southern NJ dealers are much better.
Have you checked the regional forum for recommendations?

No, I don't play soccer!
Glad to hear you go to Bridgewater too, Tromly. I haven't experienced any issues with being told my RX needs work that might be considered unnecessary. Maybe it's because I've only required routine maintenance and a few issues that were completely covered under warranty. When I arrive, my SA goes over the service I request. It's like the grand inquisition, LOL! She removes anything she feels I don't need and/or gives me discounts. Only certain techs work on my RX too. Last year I paid zero for a minor service and a few bucks for the 30K through a combination of Lexus points and trimmed down service It's a 30+ mile drive for me but well worth it.
