Battery dead without warning...
The car stayed in the Garage during the President's day long weekend (didn't drive for 4 days) and the battery is DEAD.
The car starts fine before the long weekend...but I am kinda glad that the battery went dead at home (rather than MRS and kids got stranded somewher out there).
Went to costco and got a new one for $104 - problem solved.
Not freaking out when the windows are not working - PRICELESS! LOL
Special Thanks you ALL OF YOU sharing the knowledge...
Check your battery often and be safe out there!

I just had mine down at my dealer for a new radiator (2nd one) > And they called me to tell me the battery was dead when they went to bring it in the shop. So I had them install an Interstate battery. (it was that or a Lexus battery) And like you, I`m glad it didnt strand me.

I have a battery tender that I will use on my vehicles if they sit for a few days. It's surprising how much juice they lose in that time.
Also I replace all my batteries every 3 years. Cheap insurance and I've never been stranded. Can get the dealer to install a Toyota battery for under $100.
