Said Goodbye to RX 350
We traded in the 2007 RX for a new 2012 Cadillac SRX. I had $4,000 in GM points and the deal we got was too good to pass up, and the RX was going to need tires and rear bearings ASAP. Also, the Nav screen would act up sometimes, rendering it and other functions unusable.
It's been a pleasure receiving much help here and hopefully I provided useful information to someone out there.

Lexus Champion
I was lusting for a first gen SRX with the Northstar V8 but the dealer offered me 6k for my cherry '01 RX300 so that particular itch was never scratched. Congratulations and stop by for a cup of coffee occasionally.

LOL I never even noticed or thought of that!
The wife is happy so far, and it feels good knowing I am covered by a full bumper to bumper warranty for 6 years/100,000 miles. (Paid extra for the 2 years and 50,000 miles).
It is also nice that the Caddy dealer is about 10 miles down the highway instead of about 70 miles tot the closest Lexus dealer. We also get 4 years and 50,000 miles of complimentary oil changes and tire rotations.
On the negative, the RX is more spacious inside and has better visibility. The third generation RX I can't compare because I have never driven one.
If anyone has and questions about the SRX I will try to help as much as I can.
Happy Motoring!!

No, I don't play soccer!
Adamjeeps, my mom had one years ago. I used to joke hers was the (p)Seudo RX, LOL. She had an RX300 before (loved it) so it wasn't lost on her. I was behind a newer one a few days ago. Dual exhaust and a stainless steel plate on the back bumper with SRX imprinted in it. Looked nice. I'm sure you'll be very happy with yours. Give us a report after you've driven it a while. And post some pics.
