What is everyone doing for a license plate frame front and back?
I have a silver silversport and want a minimal black frame that does not hide part of my custom license plate like my Lexus dealer frames do.
Can anyone recommend a source for a good set?

Here you go....
A fellow RX300 owner recommends this source, here's the note he sent me:
"By the way, I just received a really nice metal license frame & cover set from auto-stuff.com. Highly recommended; it's the only baked-on black paint finish that is identical to the RX black exterior."

Thank you both. I'll check Pep Boys. The autostuff.com link looks good also but I can't determine if the price is for one frame or a pair.

front plate 'alternatives'
Hello,
I'm a new RX300 owner, and also a new immigrant to the USA - California.
I'm wondering if instead of drilling into my front bumper I can instead procure a 'facsimile' of my licence plate for the front - i.e. a durable decal etc that can be applied to the front bumper without damaging the car, and is far more aesthetically pleasing - ie similar to what classic sports car owners use ...
Can someone please tell me
a) if this is illegal
b) If legal, recommended sources for this, in SF/Bay Area
TIA
James.
