CPO and 30K mile service
i just got my first "free" CPO oil change on my 2012...
Tech said my next service will be more involved for the 30K mile service and will provide a loaner.
I know whats involved in the 30K mile service, but my question is... is this service also "free"? Or is just the oil and tire rotation free, and i'll be stuck with the bill for dumb stuff like air filters.
I can replace those myself for a fraction of the price.
TIA

The 30,000 mile service ordered that way will cost you around $450 for a lot of not needed inspection items. I never go in a say I need the 30,000 miles inspection or 60,000 miles inspection although they always try to up sell me. A la carte an oil change $75, tire rotation $20 brake fluid changed $100 for a total of $195. Changing the air and cabin filter take five minutes combined and will cost $40 for a total of $235.
Every 10,000 miles ask for an oil change and tire rotation at the Lexus dealership if so inclined. This should be less than $100. Every 30,000 miles the brake fluid needs to be changed and again about $100. Every 20,000 miles change the air and cabin filters. This combined takes five minutes and the air filter can be bought on line at Lexus Parts World for $18. The cabin air filter can be bought at Walmart for $18, It is the Fram Fresh Breeze #10285 with carbon and baking soda to filter the air. Wiper blade inserts again can be bought at Lexus Parts World for $20 for both refills and takes five minutes to replace. You are done until 100,000 miles. At Lexus Parts World use cl5 in the promo code for 10% discount. If you go in and ask for the 10,000, 20,000 30,000 maintenance you will be paying big bucks for a lot more items you do not need checked and inspected. Once a year replace the key fob battery cr2032. Keep receipts for everything. I take my oil filter bought at Lexus Parts World and 5 quart jug of Mobil 1 purchased at Walmart for $24 to my local Toyota dealer and they charge me $15 labor.

ALL of the services specified in the owner's manual are supposed to be free under the CPO. I confirmed this with my dealer just yesterday, and on Tues I go in for my first service and will post the results...
Edit-- As mentioned above, don't let them upsell you the un-needed (and possibly not actually performed) menu beyond the service manual services.

CPO Lease? Me too. I've never leased a car before and I love the freedom of knowing that I will give the car back without worry about trade-in value or payoff amount, and that it's under warranty the whole time I have it! Although I am already having odometer anxiety. We're driving it a lot more than I expected. I think we'll get that under control soon though...

In addition there were the "lifetime free car washes, lifetime free coffee and danish bar, and lifetime free soda and monogrammed bottles of spring water...I KID YOU NOT, MONOGRAMMED SPRING WATER!

No danish at my dealer, which was a bummer this morning. And soda isn't free. I didn't look to see if the water is monogrammed...
I thought we'd have no worries on miles, but we're at 5K in 100 days...
But the full 20K service, plus correcting headlight aim, was all free. And even though the car got an oil change at 15K when we got it, they did a change again to get it back on schedule.
