Extended Dash Wood Upgrade Kit
#16
I had a wood kit overlay for my old Jaguar. The kit had what seemed to be like 100 pieces. I picked and choosed which I thought looked best. It was made of real wood and I believe was around $300 complete. There were some pieces that definitely would have looked 'stuck on' but there were other pieces that fit rather well due to the areas they were being applied to being just a tad recessed. This allowed the hiding of the edges which you could tell were an application and not the real deal. It's hard to imagine for $795 (installed) the wood originally seen on the vehicle in question were real panels and not an applique.

Wood upgrade kits
Here is the link to the folks that make them. http://www.wooddash.com/category/LEXUS_Dash_Kits_RX350 I saw one in the showroom, the installation looked well done but so much over the top it looked gaudy. Like someone from bumpkin land won the wood upgrade lotto and didn't know when to stop
