Default AFS on 400h

I always notice my drivers side light move but I don't can see the passengers side move when turning. When I turn on the car both go through the side to side warm up so I know they both are working. Is this Normal ? I heard that the left side goes like 15% and the other is like 5% when Turing is this true ?
Thanks ,
Chris form Kansas

If it's faulty the afs malf. Indicator would flash while driving.

During start up, do your lights move and 'level' or 'align' themselves?

Chris. you're correct on the percentages, 5% driver side, 15% passenger. The movement is not smooth and can happen either very slowly or quickly depending on speed. It's probably least noticeable when turning from a stop. The fact that the headlights do their little dance when you start the RX is a good sign. Have you turned AFS off by chance? The button is located deep under the steering wheel. It's not easy to accidentally hit but you never know. I'd try it anyway to see if you get an 'AFS off' or something to that effect on the dash.

They do the little dance things every time it's started. There isn't a light on the dash, I was just wondering why one side would move so much and the other limited, now it makes since. Hope I get the letter about the lights getting water in them. My KC dealer knows mine has it , just waiting for the all clear to get it replaced.

Thanks guys !

You don't need to wait for the letter, just go to the dealer let them verify and get on the parts waiting list. Do it before the moisture
