2004 rx 330
I have a 2004 RX 330 (bought in 2007 CPO with 40,000). It now has 180,000 it is still going strong. It was primarily used for long trips to haul my kids to their various soccer tournaments and practices. I am very impressed with how good it looks even after enduring all of the muddy equipment. It is now a secondary vehicle but I have fond memories of how it safely got us to tournaments all over the country.

I own a 2004 RX and am considering trading up to a 2014... BUT, this vehicle is so darn nice, I 'm asking what I'd get for my $40k plus upgrade. The car is in excellent condition, runs well. gets very decent gas mileage and still looks good. I keep scratching my head and asking what do I need a new RX for. Still 10 years seems like a long time to own a car. I am used to US cars being rusty junk after 4-5 years.

Differences in content and mileage would be the main driving points for any price differences. AWD or FWD? With or without NAV? Halogen headlamps or HID? The RX330 uses a timing belt which needs replacing while the RX350 uses a timing chain which does not. Otherwise, there are few big differences of note when comparing say a 2006 RX330 vs. a 2007 RX350.

2004 rx 330 awd
I have 152K on mine. Love it except for the transmission shifting. Thinking about replacing the struts. Has anyone gone longer with the originals?

More horsepower, better acceleration.
Generation 5 Navigation System with improved graphics (if equipped).
Timing chain instead of timing belt.
Uses World Standard Transmission Fluid (no maintenance).
Can play mp3 discs and the 330 can't
Acoustic Glass Windshield and more insulation to make it quieter.
