Default CD player

Okay, I need help guys....I purchased a 2003 Lexus RX300 about two months ago , and the CD Player says it loads, then gives me an Error 2. Anyone have a clue what the problem is, and how it can be fixed?? Thank you for your help! :-)

Welcome to Club Lexus.

Its been a while that I tried to load a CD.

Try using an original CD and not the one that has been burnt on computer (there is difference in thickness).

Take carrier out (the plastic platform) and follow instructions on it. The CDs are loaded upside down.

Finally, due to age and use the unit may need repair. Finding a used replacement may be the cheapest way to go.

Take particular note of this.

If this isn't the problem then you'll need to remove the changer and send it to United Radio in NY or Willman's Electronics in TX. Typical repair cost is about $150-$200.
