Default Confused Transmission

Why is it that no matter what mode we put our transmission in, it never seems to know what to do?

I know we all try to drive in manual mode, but it's just so damn frustrating that it has me yearning for Lexus to issue something to remap the shift points. The dealer told me that it's a low production car so don't expect anything.

In Eco, Normal, or Sport mode it's got that lag from 30-40 mph if you try to flat punch it on a roll and in Sport S+ you can avoid the lag, but then it holds the gear when you don't want it to.

They should've just put a manual transmission in the car and called it a day!

Highly doubt we'll ever see a manual transmission in a Lexus.

Just drive it in Manual Mode and call it a day
