Default RC350 start up exhaust question

Hi all. I have a 2016 RC350 AWD with a muffler delete and I have noticed that when I first start it the exhaust has a louder raspier sound to it. After about 30 seconds the exhaust sound gets quieter.

I use to have a BMW Z4 which had a similar startup process and I found that there was a vacuum line on the stock muffler that you could pull and plug with a golf tee that would keep a valve within the system open making for a nicer sportier sound.

Does anyone know if the RC350 has a similar vacuum line or something else that would allow one to keep the raspier startup sound?

Interesting, I have not heard or known of that. Hopefully someone can chime in. Mine will immediately quiet down if you shift into a gear at start up, but I get what you mean it is a cool sound.

Its pretty typical for a car to have a louder or raspier exhaust note on cold starts. Here at the dealership (Lexus Dealership), every car we have (including stock RC's) has a bit more of an aggressive start when they haven't been started in a while. Im sure its all part of the warming up process.

My 2015 RC350 F-Sport when first started up will sound more aggressive, and quiet down after 30 secs to it's normal sound. As others have said it's part of the warming up process.

This is completely normal especially during cold starts. All of the cars I've driven have always done this and in a few seconds it the RPM's will lower automatically.
