Muffler / Exhaust - What to do
I have an 06' IS250 and my mufflers/tips are starting to show their age... I was just wondering if it would be worth replacing the whole exhaust system, or just my mufflers?
Either way I go, any recommendations on which brand/company to go with?... I do not care about a performance upgrade at all - Don't need F-sport/HKS Hi-Performance stuff that is
$1k+
.... the only thing I really don't want is it to sound like a 93' Civic with a coffee can on the back. It can be "louder" than stock but I would like a nice deeper tone to the exhaust.
Any suggestions? Thanks!

You could also remove the muffler tips on your stock exhaust and polish them back to brand new! Or get some s2000 ap2 muffler tips that will run you $50-75.
I see a fair amount of "cheapies" on ebay... anyone know if they're worth the $200 (I understand you get what you pay for) but if it will make it look nice again for even a few years its probably worth it to me.

Cheapest route would be to pick up some GFX or S2000 exhaust tips.
If the exhaust is in as bad condition as you say it is, I would recommend picking up a used exhaust such as a Tanabe. Good sound that isn't too loud. A used one should run you around $300-$400. Good luck.
