Question Royal Purple

I'm planning on changing my ATF fluid with the Royal Purple type and was wondering if that is going to be safe or should I just stick with the Toyota type fluid? Also, as far as the oil filter type, which one is BEST for the '98 GS 300? I usually use Mobil 1 but wondering if the Toyota ones are better? Thanks ahead!

We are pretty familiar with Royal Purple's line & they do not carry an ATF-type product that would be beneficial for your Lexus.

With all the research that we have personally done, you should ALWAYS use the red type Toyota tranny fluid from the dealer & it should not be replaced with anything else. This is speaking specifically of your Lexus.
