Winter Transformation
Hey CL, Winter time is coming up in Canada so it is time to put my sc400 in the garage. I have been researching a lot since i bought my 92 sc400 with 160,000Km(99419m). First I was looking into building my 1uz and using a w58 to mate on, but soon after i began to drift towards getting the 2jzGTE swap on the auto tranny for now. I have been comparing prices and after some thought and just utilizing my tools I have decided to go with my first option!
1UZ-FE + w58 will be my first step, I have already purchased the transmission and would appreciate any links to a cost effective swap package. I know there are a couple modifications and adding the pedals. I have been lurking and soaking up information for some time :P. I also have purchased a ct20A turbo with an intercooler that I would eventually like to add. I have a couple questions. I would like to know what would i have to do to the engine for it to handle around 5-8 psi. and another list for around 10-13psi. I am aware or ARP head studs and have been reading that they are a must. Help would be appreciated i will post pics of the parts tomorrow! Let the fun begin
