Hesitation / sputtering around 1500rpm
Coming home today my SC seemed to have a sputtering/hesitation feeling once it hit 1500 rpms. It did the same when parked, and if held around that rpm I could feel the car shake.
I started it back up about an hour later and it ran smooth when driving, or when the engine was just revved. However, once it gets warm again I can feel the sputtering/hesitation start to come back.
Does this sound like an airflow or a fuel issue?

thats from the 12v fuel mod discussion. notice the car at the top is a 1995 sc400 which shows it has dual voltage operation.
not usually, unless its one of those non important codes. just put the jumper in the diagnostic port and check to make sure.
could be spark and/or fuel. make sure your plugs are healthy first. if theyre old that would be the first thing I would change. after that if the problem persists I would probably do the 12v mod and take the fuel ecu out of the equation.

The reason I ask about the codes is because I've also been having the issue where the transmission likes to skip 2nd, and 3rd sometimes. Sounds like the solenoid issue, but there's no CEL.

Thought I'd update this.. I changed my spark plugs and wires and the car seemed to run really good. However, once I had been driving for a while (30-40 min) the issue seemed to start up again. The hesitation is most noticeable around 1600-1800 rpms I'd say. Coming up a hill it got to the point if I gave it a certain amount of gas the car would buck.
Any ideas?
