Default Spark Plug Wire set (SC400)

I went to rockauto.com to buy a set of truck struts and I also noticed that they had good prices on spark plug wire sets and cap / rotors

http://www.rockauto.com/catalog/x,ca...,parttype,7228

My question is which wire set should I go with?

POWERMAX Part # 700826 {7mm Premium Plug Wire**

BECK/ARNLEY Part # 1756055

DENSO Part # 6718143

BOSCH Part # 09355 {Spark Plug Wire Set**

ACDELCO Part # 908H {#89021037**

NGK Part # 6401 {#TE119**

I haven't read heard about Power Max but they seem more performance oriented since they are 7mm.

I heard Denso is OEM and Denso owns NGK, dunno if thats true

I'm also not sure how the other brands compare

As for Cap and Rotors, i think I'm gonna go with Bosch since everybody gets those, plus they are cheap

Go to Pembroke Pine Lexus dealer and order the plug wires they have for sale. They are $96.63 and they are oem lexus parts... Can't go wrong with oem wires.

Part Number should be 90919-22262 (For an SC400 Only)

Ok guys I'm gonna get either the OEM Denso or an aftermarket NGK wire

My question now...

is the aftermarket NGK wire set better than the OEM Denso
performance wise?

magnecor are awesome. i have a set for my sr20. they are 10mm racing wires. expensive but definitely worth it. i have a full Electromotive TEC2 stand alone with ignition coils and you need something like 10mm wires to get the most out of it.

if your car is stock then get stock wires.

Denso's are pieces of crap. I know their other products are usually on point, so I assumed their wires would be as well. Turns out they ripped on me, and it's the second set I have bought. My friend with an MR2 even said they were falling apart. The bottom seal came off on 3 of my plugs today, and on one of them the top wire came off. Now my car is misfiring. No more Denso wires for me. I'm going to buy an OEM set tomorrow.

I got the OEM from Lexus, they are Not Denso instead they say Yazaki or something like that. They are the OEM name wires that were on my old Nissan 240sx. anyways they worked great and noticed a little better engine response
