Default Steering pump

This is a thread that has been beaten to death but,,,,, I have had the car (95 sc400) checked at lexus and they say they do not see any evidence of leakage from the steering pump. I have also heard this from my mechanic. Is it possible for the pump to leak very very slowly and not cause any clues to appear?

Go to the auto parts store and get some oil die. After running the car for a week check and see if there is a "trail" (you may need a black light). Most of the time if the pump is leaking it will look "wet". If it's not the pump I would take a good look at the rack. (some times it will leak into the tie-rod boots)
