Default Power Steering Pump Replacement

My power steering pump on my 95 SC400 showed symtoms of going bad, whinning and slightly harder steering. No leaking. I replaced the pump, filled the resovoir and started it up. Immediately fluid starts blowing out the top of the cap. Really blowing like it was getting pressure back thru the pump. Tried to blead the air by raising the wheels and turning from stop to stop. Didn't help and now there is no power steering. Worse than before I changed the pump. Any thoughts???

Maybe you should have replaced the rack instead.

Why do you think it could be the rack?
