Question Supra TT Motor Into SC300?

Who here has done this swap? I am VERY interested in performing this swap, and I would like to know what is involved, what costs are associated, parts, etc...? How about some stories from those of you who have done this? Thanks!!!!!

Basically, you pretty much need a front clip from a mkiv, tranny, ecu, rear-end, and many many little things. The electronics are by far the biggest problem, not to mention, building a custom tach, fuel and a few other things.

Even if you did the swap, you would only get 320 bhp at th crank, if you wan to achive bpu or even bpu+ status, it will run you an easy 25-30K. Not including the price of the lexus, or down time.

Just check out power house racing in texas.

Holy CRAP! Maybe I should just stick with the damn stock motor and turbocharge it. Anyone with experience doing that?

Default turbo TT conversion

You CAN do this! I installed a twin turbo engine in my SC300. Using the existing 5-sp Lexus trans. Took 12 months, lots of heartache, but did the whole thing myself in my garage. I've documented the entire process on my website, and offer a manual describing the process in detail:

its alot easier to just turbocharge you motor...you motor with the right set up can hold 600rwhp with stock pistons rods..crank and head.........Toyomoto offers a wide variety of options and has EXCELLENT quality products.....no need to ditch a perfectly good motor.......tt motor is also very good but cost to value is alot higher....Jeff

You're sitting on a Sc300 board where 6 people have turbocharged their SC300 and only two did the SupraTT swap?

I guess you just don't read any of the posts huh ?

there's a post now going 6 pages about CompWiz's turbo install
