Default my sc400

i just got a 92 sc400 for 2500 it has 185,000 on it, and 2 weeks after my water pump and ps pump went out and i replaced that and the timing belt all at the same time. for 350 because i did it my self. but then i found out i blew my head gasket does anyone know how much it costs to replace this at a shop? because i really dont want to spend the time to do it myself and will it hurt the motor if i drive it till i get it fixxed?

Hey man,

I had a blown headgasket at 165,000 miles which I ended up doing myself. It worked out to be the same price to put ina new motor, so I put in a 45,000 miles 1UZ.

The work was a real PITA and I would never want to do it again. I was quoted $1000 to install the engine or else $2000 to replace the BHG.

I opted for the new motor and to do it myself.

Peace,
Jonny
