Default definitive upgrade guide to increasing SC4's HP

I think there has been a lot of questions on how to make their car faster. Anyone with definitive (proven HP gains not from a butt dyno) gains please post here. Include car year and miles. SC4's or SC3/4 shared mods only please.

1992 SC400 100k miles base dyno 178rwhp 202rwtq
255walbro fuel pump,
custom exhaust 2.5" x-pipe - 2.5" piping - generic muffler
(I think just stock fuel pump would have resulted in same result
Airbox openening cut bigger.
202rwhp 217rwtq

above mods + S-AFC tuned 210rwhp 230rwtq

If anyone has done anything else and has PROVEN HP gains please post here.
thank you.

75-100 shot will probably get you to that 300rhp milestone...

as soon as i finish a few house projects, i am going to design a catback exhaust with some Apex N-1 Universal mufflers, do the BFI, get an SAFC2, and who knows,...might do the pulleys,.... virtually the same mods as on my last car, which were very beneficial.

Good info VSsc400

What about dumping the fan for an electric fan upgrade? Won't that free up like 15-17hp? Has anyone tried the twin electric fan upgrade on a SC400?

Fans would free up some decent HP, but it will make the car louder.

Noo, wont free up any HP on the SC4. On the SC3, yes it will, but not the V8 which has a hydraulic fan system, opposed to the SC3's belt-driven fan
