Cant get service loaner
I ran into some trouble with my Lexus IS250 AWD while driving to disney about a 30 mile drive. While coming to a stop at the disney entrance my car began to shake then a blinking check engine light came on following a check VSC warning. The car was very very slow taking almost 20 seconds to reach 45MPH. every time i came to a stop it would continue to shake. i finally found a area to stop and restart the car safely. Restarting it fixed the problem but still concerned i took it to Lexus. I was unable to get a service loaner at Lexus of orlando because i am 19.
I opted to cancel the service and get my car back. The service guy said he has seen this issue before and it may take several days to fix. I am not sure what to do because the car is acting strange again and i need transportation to and from school i am attending college here in central florida and have no family members or close friends that are 21 who could sign out the service loaner. i don't blame the dealer they are just following the insurance rules. does anyone have any suggestions or advice of hat i should do? or has anyone else experienced these issues with their vehicle?

Some Rental car companies also state you need to be 21 or above to rent a vehicle...I just picked up a loaner from my Lexus dealer today and the "21 and above" rule was pretty prominent and strictly reinforced...

It most definitely is age discrimination, just like smoking age is 18, drinking age is 21, voting age is 18, driving age is 16.
Companies have the right to say who does and doesn't comply to their rules for rentals.
At 19, not much of an option unfortunately. If you continue driving the car, however, you will do further damage to the vehicle.
