When I want to learn something about an additive I know nothing about, I go to http://www.bobistheoilguy.com/ and search the forums. A lot of CL members I know frequent the place.

don't do it...
also don't flush your trans...
on a higher mileage car, it almost never ends up a positive experience...
I work in the auto maintenance industry, I have seen enough trans destroyed by a power flush to know that anything over 100k, it might be advisable to just do your standard drain and fill, or pan / filter service...
What are you trying to accomplish? Is your trans slipping?

I would recommend, however, a trans pan/filter service, and to replace the fluid with Amsoil or Mobil 3309 (the only synthetics that work in our cars)... At that time, you'd be able to look at the magnets in the pan and see if there were any large chunks to be worried with...
Then refill with the new fluid, would hopefully take care of your problems (if indeed it is a internal issue).
I've just seen people with trans slippage and engagement issues do a power flush and end up with a non-driveable car...
