oil filter 90915-20004 discontinued?
I been using 90915-20004 oil filter on my sc400 but since I dont have them anymore in my house, I called several dealers/online stores. some dealers told it's discontinued and offered me 90915-1ZZB3?(not 5) for like $7.99. I called Carson toyota and they dont even have them in stock (he said they'll probably have them by tomorrow). I looked up on our vendor, lexus-parts.com but they have another part number (90915-YZZD3). I'm sure they'll work on our car but I'been hearing 90915-20004 is the best filter, I'm wondering the quality of other filters. any comments? do you know any part departments have 90915-20004 with carson toyota's price?($7.25?each) I need to get some of them now. THANKS!
ps. one of my local toyota is trying to sell me with $16..(local lexus $14.99).

I just bought 2@9.53 each from a local toyota dealer. He offered me 90915-yzzb9, 3@3.95 each. What a difference in price! Anyway, I figure that since I am going to change it at 7500 miles with mobile one I'll go with the more expense choice.
I didn't hear him say anything about discontinuing the filter.

Carson has always been great about this kind of stuff. Call them back and ask for Gordon Miguel. He'll have the correct answer. I use nothing but the 20004 filter in my SC. I have had some Toyota dealers try to substitute a lighter duty Supra filter. Apparently the Lexus number for the correct filter in cross-referenced to that cheaper filter in the Toyota parts lists.
