HomeLink to my garage door !
hi,
i recently installed an automatic garage door opener.
I try to use the HomeLink to open my garage door but with no hope.
my car is lexus LX570.
i am not sure if the receiver is a rolling code receiver or something else, as i do not know how it look like for the rolling code receiver and the other receiver.
But i do have a picture of my receiver and the remote control
Could anyone please tell me if this can work with the HomeLink in the LX570
if yes how can i do it?
in the receiver i can also adjust the code from 1 to 8 whether move it to + or -. but i can not find any learning button at all.
Thank you for your help in advance.
i really need help !

I have a 2010 LX570 and I have a rolling code garage opener and I cannot get it to work with my LX. I hit the learn button on the garage opener, etc and still no go. Same concept used on my Maserati and Porsche and BMW and they all worked. On our Honda Odessey, it worked with the hand held transmitter. I think my garage opener in my LX is just defective at this point.

For the rolling code and the dip switch version first step is to clear the homelink by holding number 1 and number 3 on the homelink until the indicator flashes.
For rolling code step 2 is to hold a working remote close to the homelink buttons in the LX. Activate the remote and hold down the homelink button you want to work. Keep the remote and the homelink button pressed until the homelink inticator flashes. This sets the frequency.
Step 3 for rolling code is to press the set or sync button on the main unit then in the next 30 seconds activate the homelink button that you set the frequency on until the main unit indicates it synced with the homelink. Should work then.
Not sure for that dip switch unit but it may work like step 2 after you set the dips. Get the car close to the unit.

so may i ask if on the picture is it a Rolling code receiver or a dip switch like mentioned?
so far in my receiver unit(picture) there is not sync button just the code that i can change like the remote(picture). so i dont think that i can do the step 3 . so anyone can confirm is the rolling code remote is like the one that i have or another type ?
because i am not sure is mine is : rolling code remote or not !
anyone has the same remote like mine? and make it works?

Thank you for the details about from KC001, i try a few time and still no hope.
i am desperate right now on how to make it work. I try to see if there is a learning button in the Receiver ( plus they said that it is rolling code receiver). but i wonder if it is really a rooling code. anyone has a picture of a rolling code receiver button ?

I got mine to work. The instructions in the manual are not accurate, I had to hold my transitter and button down til the lights flashed really fast, run over and hit the learn button on my opener and run back and hit the garage opener button in the LX...same button tha was flashing fast. Thanks KC!

AC,
Thanks much for your great post. I just brought my 2010 LX home tonight. I wasted 15 minutes following the manual's directions to no avail. Came here, found your post and was done with 2 garage door openers in 2 minutes.

I believe this will also work on the LS (I know it did on my LS430).
As mentioned in prior post:

Pole Position
I have a three car garage with three separate garage doors. One of the door openers is the "rolling code" type and I have NEVER got any of my Lexus vehicles to operate this one door opener. I have spent hours trying to do so but never could get it to work. I am lucky as it is the door to where the riding mower resides. The other door openers with the dip switches are set up in just minutes!
