Default [Help] 2004 LX470: ABS, VSC TRAC, VSC OFF lights are on

Hello,

We have a 2004 LX470 that have the following lights on the dash: ABS, VSC TRAC, VSC OFF

I don't drive this car often, so I did not know when these lights came on. The normal driver of the car does not really pay attention. Only recently did I notice it when I drove the car.

Is there something wrong with the car, or are there buttons that were accidentally hit?

Hi Mike,

Did you check your fuel tank cap? usually this happen when the cap is not fully tightened or faulty(not sealing properly)

Hello, yes I checked it and it was tight. If this was the issue, how long does it take after it is tightened for it to go away?

I've pulled the negative terminal to the battery to reset the ECU, and the lights hasn't come back since. But it is still to early to tell.

Try turning your car lights to off (eg not auto) before starting your car. Let me know if that works

Disconnect your negative side of the battery for 20 secs. Reconnect then start the truck. The Light will go out. But if it comes back on within 10-20 minutes. Your oxygen sensors are going bad. Then you need to have to put it on a scanner to see which sensor is bad. The two fronts will go 1st before the rears do.
