VSC and VSC OFF lights came on??

VSC and VSC OFF lights came on??
I was driving to work and the "VSC" and the "VSC OFF" lights both came on. No check engine light (yet). Car drives fine. Anyone know the reason??

When these lights come on without a CEL it usually means there is a pending error. Depending on the problem the CEL will not come on until there have been several cycles with the same error. If the error repeats itself the CEL will come on. If not, the VSC lights go off. I think this is a safety precaution because it's probably not wise to if the VSC is operating under an error condition. That's just an educated guess.
