I replaced my subwoofer a couple of years ago already-have others had problems with their subwoofers blowing out? Also where can I buy a real Mark Levinson replacement?(should I get a real Levinson speaker or are their high quality andd matched substitutuions?)

I have the same problem. I'm wondering what a good alternative might be. The ML sub was never any good to begin with, imo.

The sub in in my '02 LX 470 just starting buzzing/rattling/etc., & I was sure hoping someone here would tell me about a (relatively inexpensive aftermarket?) replacement...Come on guys...help us out

It seems (through research on this board) that the JL 6WO 8ohm is a good way to go. Not being an audiophile in the least, I wonder if this is a pretty easy plug and play deal.

replacing it with another ML sub is not worth it. I have had two replaced (under warranty) now having the same issue...just a buzzing rattling noice.

Was this a defect ? I have never played loud dance music. errr

subwoofer is buzzing? um thats usually caused by interferences id get a filter to get rid of all the interference thats caused by the engine, usually goes through the power for the amp. use a filter if its buzzing if its not buzzing then ignore what i just said.
