We looked at a 2014 that was almost new, then drove a 2009 that had 73K miles on it and was virtually indistinguishable from the '14.

We asked "why would we pay high $70s for a 2014 when we can save $38K for this nice used one?

This thing is flawless and was serviced regularly at the Lexus dealership. You definitely feel like the king of the road in this bad boy. And to me, it rides every bit as good as my next door neighbor's RR Autobiography.

We are taking our first road trip tomorrow in the new beast.

Congrats!

No doubt the LX vehicle gives you the feel of security. 73K is young and you and your new LX should have many years together.

We need a pciture, it is tradition!

Awesome to hear as I am inching closer to pulling the trigger on a 2009 as well, however with 95K on the ticker.

awesome, congratulations.

You will not regret your decision ( well, I hope not )

I am on my second LX as the 470 was given to my son with 190K on the clock and still looking great. Not sure how it will look after my grandchildren have it for a year, but...

I couldn't be more pleased with the LX570. So many improvement for the better and year still a classy vehicle.

If you drive 20k miles a year you have another 15 years of driving with just regular servicing before any parts might need to be replaced. These things are built to last. They are several steps above all the other current Lexus models from a reliablity and durablity perspective. Also the paint and the materials used on the LX will not age like most vehicles. Look at a normal 2000 LX470 and they still look great. Congrats

I did the same thing! Test drove a 2014 then decided to buy a fully loaded white 2010 with 38k miles for $53K. I traded my 2003 GX 470 that I had for 11 years. I've really enjoyed my LX and have already taken two long road trips with the family.

Good buy as they look pretty darn similar from the outside. I looked yesterday at a 2011 LX570 CPO (60k miles) for $52k here in Dallas...found a 09 (113k miles) decently taken care of though its asking price is a little higher than I'd like at $37k....they ride very similar with very minor differences....hard to justify $15k-$20k for a car that rides so smooth even with 113k miles!

Haven't pulled the trigger just yet, looking at some LX470s in the meanwhile hehe

We just traded our 2009 with 81K miles. It looked and drove like new. We are hoping for a similar experience with the 2015 LX that will be delivered on Thursday.

These are simply great vehicles.

Should be able to get the 60k mile 2011 for $46-47k. I paid $52k for my 2011 with 29k a tea months ago in Austin. Good hunting.

Yep- that's a good range for a 60k mile CPO- be prepared for close to 50 large after taxes and insurance
