ICON's Custon LX570 revealed. SEMA preview
When Lexus announced their SEMA lineup, I was especially interested in what ICON's modified LX 570 would look like, especially given that it was described as the "anti-bling" version, subdued and super functional.
Well, the cat's out of the bag, I stumbled onto Icon's project page at CarDomain and all the secrets were revealed. Here's the almost-final show truck:

I love it !
Theres a couple of things though.
Dont the door handles look out of place being black and almost a different finish.
Also the wheels , if you squint, it looks like a Cayenne with those wheels and calipers.
The interior pic shows only heated seats, are the cooled seats part of a package? I'm just not sure, I thought they all had cooled seats...

My 0.02
The carbon fiber looks terrible. LX has the best wood look/quality of any other SUV I have seen - no need to change anything.
The very low profile tires look poor on vehicles where there is a big gap between the fenders & wheels and therefore only look good on sedans and sports cars
What would I like to see for the LX?
Some good quality low profile fender extensions that integrate well into the rest of the body lines. IMO these will enhance the presence of the LX.
