I watch the plates to see where folks are coming from and know their experience at high speed. Same with car models, Vauxhall owners seem to have a mechanical brain

Many drivers in Germany are able to drive very fast without any risks due to daily training. However, those cooking their pea soup in the cabin are spread worldwide. For truck drivers cruising is boring and I feel the same when I'm at low speed. I never was sleepy at 160 and day light, LOL.

Many owners of powerful cars are unable to drive fast because they never did and have no training. Pet instead of push, that is typical for a Porsche. For removing the speed limiter BMW offers test runs with exam.

Right, a Lexus LS is faster as many owners can drive, is faster as city limit but all cars have always for some people not enough HP. Asking for more is not because of higher speed, it is of beeing able to drive faster in theory which is in reality nearly never the case.

Installation of the LFA engine in a Lexus LS would be great, but it is not possible. No modular approach by Lexus. I asked them. 650 HP as in the TS-650 is also not offered. RC-F has less than 100 HP more and ISF less than 80 more. Too expensive to exchange the different parts.

I found HKS supercharger, Tom's compressor and NOS as solutions. HKS and Tom's is for LHD only AFAIK.
I just don't see the LFA engine particularly optimized in a heavy car. It has the numbers but I think it's optimized as a shorter stroke that likes it's legs to be stretched out.
I think forced induction for the LS is the best and cheapest solution then an actual engine swap or even a built and blueprinted engine. Maybe a 5.7 engine with a supercharger from a Toyota tuck would be the most ideal to get that low down torque.

There is no damage. It is how a Hybrid drive works when you set PWR on. Both engines work together and this is wonderful like airplane take-off or driving a full electric car like Model S.

Mine is always in PWR and I have more as 100k miles on the odo.

By damage I meantime who much does it cost to replace the batteries when necessary? I wonder how many miles one can get on the original battery pack

Battery is made for life time of the car. That's why it is a NiMH pack. Exchange unknown since 7 years. I'm sure if there is one to replace Lexus is doing this for free simply not to damage their synergy drive reputation.

The electronic system is charging/discharging differently over the years and this is a clever anti-aging system. Only a small bandwidth of the capacity is in use.

Sorry, off-topic.

Hardly off topic, getting a 600h version is a way to increase the LS HP.. I tried but have not found a link to the hybrids design elements but thanks for the heads up

I thought so too but the 600 weighs like 5300 pounds, its no faster then any of the other models in fact id bet the 460 swb is faster.

If the battery is charged and because the electronically controlled CVT puts the LSh 5 litre V8 always in maximum output I don't think the LS460 is faster. Lexus is known to have those acceleraton values in their papers which can be reached under all circumstances and this is LS600 without electric motor (165 kW / 300 Nm)

Acceleration
0–100 km/h (62 mph)

LS460: 5.7s
vs.
LS600: 6.3s

I installed the BMW M Power Meter app on my iPhone and come back with the LS600 max acceleration a.s.a.p.
Who can do this with a LS460? From zero to max is better as to 62 mph only.

Its possible your right , the 600 might be a hair faster but because of the weight difference its really not all that much.

not knocking the 600's im just saying

Every road test I've seen places the 600 behind the 460 in acceleration. The car is 870 lbs heavier. The LS600 might "FEEL" faster, but it simply is not. 50 extra hp vs 887 lbs is not a good trade off for accleleration numbers.

There are other bolt-on modifications such as equal length headers made by other Japanese retailers as seen here:

Here's a clip of how the headers sound on our vehicles:

There is also a bored/larger TB available for our vehicles by Think Design, Craft Tec, and another company that escapes me at the moment:

Cusco/OS Giken also make 1/2-way LSDs for our transmissions.

Bear in mind, power modifications are available for any car. Off-the-shelf or custom, it's a matter of how badly you want the power and whether or not it's worth your hard earned money to spend it.
I want to buy these headers. Whats the website amd how much
