Stabilizing fins. Possible fix for wind noise in pre 2013 cars.

This part is actually the part for the 2013/2014 cars, but yes, this fits all LS 460's
I have driven my car with the jmcraney fix in place and up to 30 mph it is almost silent with tire and engine noise much more pronounced. at around 50/60 mph there is the same old noise as before which i hope these new fins will eliminate.
I be back with an update soon!

If you are going to simply install these without the jmcraney fix, then just refer to page one of this discussion.
I have not installed mine yet, but plan to do so in a few days after the jmcraney fix has a few days on my car.

Change all the rubber around the windows helps the most. I did the jc fix and the fins the one that made the best change at higher speeds was the weather seals.

how involved was the seal replacement? And would you have the part #'s off hand?
**another quick note on the status of my fix. this sealant does not work in the cold weather we've been having, even in my garage where it gets to 45 degrees or so. i will tackle/finish this project tomorrow with some 5-minute 2-part epoxy**

I have new finned parts
We've understood for a long time that the "wind noise" problem is an international problem but not too many reports from Down Under. Welcome to the CL discussions.
If you are unable to secure the new parts, here is something you can try with the parts that you have now: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/ls4...noise-fix.html

Seeing how we hang upside down off the planet and the toilet water goes backwards down the hole, who knows what may happen!
Cheers again from Downunder!

I will have to go in search of this later as it appears that these part numbers are for the 2013 and 2014 cars. . .

I only had time to stick on the right side when i did the 2-part epoxy and it's sounds great on that side. I now have some better weather in my favor and will likely do the left side tonight, as the wind noise is starting to get to me
