How many turns before your LS430 starts???

In my experience at least, there's really no question though on a cold start. If the car has been sitting a while and I let the fuel pump "energize" first for a few seconds, it takes less cranks on the starter to fire up.

Doesn't seem to matter if it's been sitting overnight (and I don't have a garage, so it's chilly - I live in NC - it doesn't really get *cold* here) - or if I've just come off an hour drive and restarted - it seems to take 1-3 full seconds to crank.
I'm not worried about it... Just something to adjust to.

Im Back
Sorry guys.....I got crazy busy in real life and havent been able to return to the site. Funny how the questions that I am embarrassed to ask turn into a 2 page post.............well you guys have done a great job of answering my question..........ironically my last 2 cars were also a little long in the tooth and needed this energize and even preferred a pedal pump trick....I owned a 98 acura 3.2 TL 130k miles and my last car was the buttery smooth Grandpa car....2002 Toyota Avalon 150K on her Both of them had hot batteries but with both of them I would pump the pedal once or twice and turn key to energize the pump then fire away......boom....they would fire right up.
The factors with my new Flagship are as u guys mentioned.......and a few more.....
Mine has high mileage 130k
sits for days at a time
has new battery
runs great but I have no proof she has had plugs replaced ever
I will try energize trick....I bet it helps......I will also listen for how many cranks on a hot start vs cold start......I bet when Im out running her around town she fires right up.........
Thanks guys!

Follow up............I tried the energize method....turn key to position prior to start....let fuel pump do its thing......then turn key to start. She started right up.....all hot starts after that didnt need the energizing. If i listen real careful she fires on third turn.....DA DA Vrooooom .....Older cars just need a little help from their friends
