Contrasts nicely with your car paint. Did you spray it on or brush?

I painted them with a roller...

No, it was sprayed on. I did not bother in taking off each caliper and going crazy on it, at least this time around. Plus no one can see but the front 40% of the thing. It is very easy to use a little plastic and some painters tape to protect everything else. I also painted my wheel wells black and replaced the front bumper chrome strip. That was a pain getting the old glue and residue off.

I was considering silver, gold, yellow, and black. Cheery red is a little deeper but the bit of orange in the red I choose also is similar to the saddle interior. In person, it makes the car look a little more aggressive and the rims a little bigger.

So did you use glossy paint? high heat? How many coats?

I'm doing mine dark blue or silver on my Silver 02.

For the wheel well, we used the cheap glossy enamel. It won't last long so don't waste your money on expensive paint. It does clean it up nicely to blackout the area. I spent a little time cleaning the wheel well area but concentrated mostly on the caliper. Steel wool + goof off works great to clean grime on the face of the caliper. Then some minor sanding.

I painted the caliper with the nicer glossy Rustolem outdoor paint + primer. Maybe 4 light coats and spent about 40 min a wheel. High heat is not a issue unless you plan on taking her to the track.
