Default Stock Calipers pics painted in red (I know), black and silver

I took these at our meet today so people can see stock calipers painted different colors. After seeing everyone's big brake kits, I am NOT going red next time. It is kinda ricey and cheezy, IMO. The black is my favorite and silver is nice also.

**** I may go with white though, just to see what it looks like****

Enjoy members.

Red (I painted over 2 years ago) I already know your questions..
Yes, the rims are scratched.
I put on those Lexus stickers
That dark red below the Lexus is reflective tape

hey sick, now you know why manaray and i kept on saying either black or silver, nothing else huh? there is a reason man, if you are not having a full upgrade, don't paint it anything else other than black or silver if you have to

btw, who's car was that with the hre 540R? those are hot! more pics?

You can get the "silver" look without painting the stock calipers. My friend who owns a detail shop sprayed my calipers with a mild acid solution (followed by a rinse with water after 30 seconds) and they look almost identical to the silver calipers shown here on Bit's ride. I'll take some pics when the weather clears up and post. Next time I'm at the detail shop I'll get the 411 on the "cleaner" he uses (also uses it on certain wheels and wheel wells) for those of you interested in a cheap and easy dress-up.

I saw tomtnc's calipers and I did think they were painted! He explained that they were just really cleaned up. They did look different from my silver (G2 caliper) paint though which has kind of a shiny finish and his ultra clean stock finish is a fairly rough surface because that's what the calipers are like, and it seemed to have a slight greenish tinge to it also which I think is what the factory color really is. Looked good!
