Default Converting Air Suspension Struts to Conventional

Just had my second set of front Air Suspension Struts replaced on my LS430. Question-is there a conversion kit available to switch to convential struts? These $1100 Air Struts are killing my pocket book. I've searched the internet and have only found kits for LS400's.

This is much the reason I sought out one without the adjustable suspension. The fixed struts in the Sport are just fine!.

Not sure how reply to the term "Fixed"! If you are referring to rebuilt units I have not seen any advertised on the internet for a LS430. New Toyota Air Struts are $1100 each!

Have not found any "fixed" struts for a 2002 LS430. I find plenty for the LS400's. I have sent e-mails to several suppliers for these struts, but not received any replies as yet. The Lexus service department was of no help.

I guess i'm a little confused. Are yous saying the air suspension uses the same struts as a regularly equipped car?

Not at all! I want to replace the Air Struts with regular struts that come with LS430 without the Ultra Package.

I don't know if it's possible but here are the costs:

48510-50130,STRUT Front SPORT PACKAGE: $76.71

48510-50120,STRUT Front NON-SPORT: $76.71

I'm sure you will needs the springs also:

48131-50130 OEM Lexus Front Coil Spring SPORT PACKAGE: $113.38

48131-50140 OEM Lexus Front Coil Spring ROUGH ROAD PACKAGE & SPORT PACKAGE: $131.35

compared to the Air Suspension

48010-50110 Pneumatic Front W/Shock Absorber Cylinder Assembly: $985.20

So you can put the struts from a regular LS430 into one that has the air suspension? I am just curious as I want to purchase a 04 LS W/ UL but wanted to know if the air suspension goes bad I can just put the reg struts on it instead of spending like 4k on replacing the air ride setup.

Thanks

I checked that out before we can just put on the aftermart coilover (like TRD , TOM's) to replace those Air suspension , anything is perfect fix except u can't adjust the height level and sport mode ..

Similar question here (don't mean to take over the thread or anything):

I have an 01 LS430 with Sports suspension and I can tell the ride feels the bumps in the road more than an 01 LS430 with Regular Suspension. I want to have the regular suspension. I want a smooth elegant Lexus drive. Can this conversion be done? Do I just replace the struts with the regular suspension one? Any approximate cost?

Did anyone determine if this was possible? Thanks in advance.
