Woodgrain Steering Wheel Ring/cover Trim
Hi LS400 afficionados
Does anyone know where I can purchase a woodgrain airbag steering wheel ring/cover/trim for a 1991 LS. I understand a company like Grant or Bitrim may make these, although no indication on their website.
Ciao

Hey Guys
This may not help but when I had my 91 I had to recover the steering wheel too. I used a Product called Wheel Skins that I bought from Pep Boys for $15.00. I takes about 2 - 3 hours to instal "Properly" but the results are great espesially for $15.00.
When you done the wheel feels just awsome, brand new leather smell and all. Also these things last for friggen ever.

Hey Like I said it was $15.00. You want to see fuglly look at people who drive around with the original wheel and the leather is totally deteriorating. The old leather just crumbles in your hands. SO most people get that vinyl wrap stuff.
Just trying to help.

You bought that wheel from Wald. Have you tried to install it yet? Seems like it's for the LS430s. Let us know if it works out.

steering wheel recover
There is a place on the net called "American Stitches" that redo Lexus wheels in either leather or leather and wood. They have examples on their site.Nice!
The only drawback is you have to send your steering wheel to them --so no wheel for a few days.
Cost is anywhere from around $275-$475 .
Hope this helps
