Default Replacing rear struts 92 LS

I've just ordered a set of rear struts and they should be coming in shortly. I think i'm going to attempt replacing them myself. Just curious if anyone has done this before and if they have any tips? From what I've gathered from reading some previous posts, the rear seat has to come out. Then you need to disconnect the rear stabilizer link which is next to the lower strut attachment bolt then the strut should drop down forward of the rear axle and come out. Also from reading other posts some people have said the axle needs to come off? I assume the spring compressor isn't used until you get the strut completely out of the car ? As you can tell I don't know much about suspensions and this will be my first attempt at replacing any parts myself.

Struts actually just came in this afternoon, guess I will attempt it tonight. Hopefully it won't be too hard.

Good luck. I am about to have the struts replaced on my 93 Toyota Camry LE V6 (Lexus ES300 twin) and I have heard on the Camry/ES300 that the rear seat and rear package shelf has to be removed on these cars as well.

Well the bottom bolt holding the strut on was seized and I was unable to do the job myself. I paid 4 hrs labor to get the struts installed. (They had to cut the old ones out on the bottom because the bolt was seized so bad)
