windows roll up too high?
if i just pull the switch up all the way so that it closes automatically, occasionally this will result in some kind of clicking, rattling type noise coming from the door. this can be easily negated by just flicking the switch down the smallest amount, just tapping the switch as quickly as you can to move the window ever so slightly will make it stop. the left rear door makes an almost squeaking, chriping type noise, until the window is lowered by even the smallest amount i can. the only door not intermittently plagued by this is the right rear door. is there some way to recalibrate where "fully up" is currently?

I have never heard of that, but if it was mine, I would pull the door panel off and see what was REALLY going on and if I could not make it work properly, THEN I would get on here and say "this and that" are doing blaaa,
HELP ME.... but who knows, maybe some one has already had this problem and I just missed seeing it...
PS, I have been retired for over 18 years now, and I read the articles morning noon and night... good luck..

i would rather not take off the door panel and risk making things worse unless i absolutely had to. even if i did remove the panel i'm not sure i would even know exactly what to look for anyway.

I would start by spraying silicone lubricant onto a paper tower or a rag, and dressing all of the window channels, and rubber. My rear windows make that god awful "styrofoam against styrofoam" squeaking sound ever so slighty when they make contact and close fully, and it gives me the *******.... uhg... hate that sound....
I haven't lubricated mine yet, but i imagine it would fix the issue.

Buy new doors? A bit extreme... That's like buying a new car because your tire pressure is off!
Like sha said, they rubber isn't going to be as malleable as it was when new, and will need the occasional dressing to perform at its best.
