Transmission mount issue
I plan on replacing the trans mount during my next oil change but wanted to see if anyone else experienced weird vibrations with theirs?
I'll have a vibration that goes away as soon as I throw the car in neutral from drive; it will also lighten up when parked but is totally unnoticeable when in neutral.
That and the power steering pump are my March projects and I'm actually looking forward to both!

Just wondering, did you all replace the trans mount with the car entirely off the ground or can the part be removed with just the front two wheels jacked up? I know I'll need to support the transmission in order to remove and replace the old piece.
TIA

You just need to make room under the car and be able to support the tranny with a jack when you unbolt the crossmember. If you were REALLY skinny you could just do it with all four wheels on the ground!
I just did mine last week, it was still intact, but had collapsed to less than half the height of the new mount. fixed the driveline vibes too

Haha. I'll jack the front up then real high. Glad I don't have to take the whole car in the air.
Really looking forward to this fix. Been driving me nuts for months!
