Unhappy Tire noise & cupping

Hello I am new to this forum. I own a 1997 LS 400, Diamond white pearl, has Nakamichi & I am at 82,000 miles.
At 71,000 miles I replaced the 2 front tires with Michelin MXV 4plus to match 2 good tires.
I noticed a whirring sound recently, almost like a bad bearing sound (For example). I also noticed in certain light and at certain angles the tire is wearing down unevenly. In certain areas of tire rubber is lower, or worn deeper than others.

What is causing this?

What fix, or parts change is needed?

Are the tires ruined?

Appreciate what ever advise I can receive.

Sheldon

Default tire cupping

Check your car 4 wheels alignment for toe settings. It's very likely your problem. Also check for your front struts. They're getting old but should have a lot of life left. Depend on the damages, yes your tires are ruined. You can either live with the noise or buy another set of tires.

Balance, alignment, and/or suspension worn. Most likely worn suspension parts (eg. shocks) but out-of-alignment can send your tires south. Depending on the severity of uneven wear, the tires may never return to acceptable roundness after fixing the culprit(s). In the meantime, you'll either have to put up with the noise or toss them.
