Delete coolant line to throttle body and IACV
guys, i got coolant leak from the bottom of IACV and I decided to bypass the coolant line to it. before that I deleted EGR already.
I am thinking of deleting coolant line to throttle body so that it does not get heated unnecessarily. it will also prevent coolant leak from there later all. I live in a hot weather country, similar to CA.
anyone say no?

You gas mileage would be slightly poorer other than the fast idle issues. But your warm climate wouldn't cause any serious problem.
Regarding the EGR deletion, the air pollution level in your country will be increased.
Especially, the NOx level becomes more than before about 0.000001ppm.

I can't recall but don't believe the IACV has a coolant temp sensor built in. The idea of having coolant flowing through the TB in general is t prevent ice formation during cold weather (windchill becomes an issue). OP lives in an area with no frost usually, so he should be fine.

Only way I could see the mpg go down is a ever so slightly cooler intake charge, reducing the fuel atomisation, again ever so slightly.
I removed the metal fittings from the water neck at the front and tapped threads to blank the holes. I used a rubber blanking cap for the outlet behind the manifold.
