Oxygen Sensor problems
Check engine light on 1997 LS 400 (with only 48000 miles) comes on-- OBDII reader gives a P0135 -- Oxygen sensor replaced with genuine Toyota part --- Check engine light comes on again after about 6 milles -- same code !!!
What is the next step? Any help would be appreciated,
Thanks

I had the same issue a few months ago and it was the drivers side. Replaced just the one and haven't had any problems since. Although it is fine to drive on it currently so I wouldn't worry too much although I like my Lexus to be in top notch working order

I could not get a new sensor, so the passenger side sensor which was removed (and which was presumably good) was switched to the driver's side, and have not seen the check engine light since--Fingers still crossed!
