Default TC

You can get a TC from Swift Racing.
I found another company that makes TC for Lexus and I'll post it later when I find out their # and stuff.
I have a TC in my 93 LS and haven't notice any wear and tear besides improved acceleration!
Hope this helps.

The TC from SRT is made to SRT specs by Precision Industries. It is a 9.5" unit compared to the OEM 13" unit. The smaller size means less mass to accelerate. The unit is made to allow the engine to rev to a slightly higher rpm before it fully engages. While doing this it multiplys the torque just like a gear ratio. This means the wheels will have MORE torque to accelerate the car with. The added rpms will make virtually no change in engine longevity. The extra force is applied against the tranny. These tranny's are very strong and this should present no problem. The tires may wear out a little quicker if you decide to spin them with the extra torque

I would recommend this unit.

Yeh, you will not notice any shortened engine life but you definitely will notice the rear tire wear. I just got a set of rear tires about 4 months ago and I noticed the tread is about 40% gone. My previous set only lasted about 8k miles

Thumbs up

JacobT,
Your car sounds quick and aggressively driven. Have you been to a track or measured the performance in any manner?

I posted it as a new thread.
It is called Level10 and they make TC for Lexus and other stuff. A little pricey though. I emailed them and this is what they sent me:

To Lou

PTS BILLET TORQUE CONVERTOR 1098.00
PTS HYDROSYSTEM SERVICE 698.00
PTS SHIFTRONIC 1498.00

Best price so far is through SRT.
Good Luck,

$1100 for Level 10s "billet" torque converter? The only billet torque converter I have seen is from Precision Industries. The machine the engine half of the converter from a billet plate. Beautiful work. I wonder if Level 10 is reselling PI's part. SRT and RMM both sell the PI TC and SRT sells it for LESS than PI and RMM sells it form more.

SRT has the best prices and is VERY helpful. I say reward the companies that produce excelence.
