Default Need help asap remote key no longer works!! '99LS **UPDATE**

UPDATE:
Ok so here is what the problem is now…. Since my earlier post I have changed my battery and everything works as it should, except for the remote.

Now I’m able to open and close the doors with the key and the alarm wont go off, and the car starts right up. The windows go up and down with the key….. the whole nine.
The only problem now is that the remote doesn’t work, Every time I try to reprogram the key it rejects the key… on the last step when its suppose to cycle the locks once to show that the key has been recognized and now works, it cycles twice meaning that it has rejected the key?

What do I do here?
Do you guys think it’s the alarm ECU?
What can it be?

Hey guys, the other day I was at lunch when I was walking back to my car trying to open the doors and they wouldn’t open, I knew my battery probably died so I needed a jump. So after I got the jump the car started just fine and I went on my way. I got to the office turned off the car, got out and tired to arm the alarm and no dice, nothing happened. So I thought the battery had died again so I sat back in the car and tried to start her, fired right up???

So ever since that day the remote wont work, both keys I have will not unlock, lock or pop the trunk. I don’t get what could have happened.
Now I have to manually open the doors with the key, which sets off the alarm and then once I start the car the alarm shuts off and all goes back to normal.

Now these are the things I have tired in hopes on fixing the problem;
    • Changed the battery out on both remotes

            Guys I’m stumped, can some one help me?

            Does anyone know where the alarm ecu or transponder is located? Do they go bad or burn out?

            If someone can look in their owners manual and see what fuse controls the alarm and please let me know that would be appreciated.

            Thank you for reading thru all this, and any replies you might leave.

            Wow if you figure this one out without the service dept..I'd be amazed.

            When you reset the codes did you get the confirmation(s) from the locks?
