Dealer issue
Can someone with a 2007 ls who had theirs nav updated what version shows on the screen. The reason I ask I had the dealer do an update to the newest version and it shows 10.1 and I thought the newest was 11.1. I spoke to the dealer and he said the 5th gen head unit show up 10.1 even when 11.1 is loaded. Only 6th gen units show the 11.1. I think the dealer is trying to shoot smoke up my back end. Need your help.

I wish I could help but my 07 isn't being updgraded until next Wednesday, so I'll have to see what it says then. From a purely logical standpoint, it sounds pretty ridiculous to me if that were actually true.

I had my '07 updated a few months back and I can assure you the current version is 11.1.
Offer to get on a conference call with them and Lexus corporate. That will put an end to this foolishness in a heartbeat!

I spoke to Lexus Customer services today because the dealer refuse to take my call. FYI I have always was kind and never raised my voice to dealer, but I wanted too. Lexus customer system is looking into my claims with the dealer including my tires on my car that to be certified needed to better than 5/32 thread and I have 3/32 remaining. If any one wants the name of dealer just ask. Since I dont know the rules on posting name I have not mention of the dealer.

Just had my nav updated today at the dealer, so wanted to post an update. I am running version 11.1 and am sooooooo excited that the "I agree" button that always needed to be pushed has disappeared. I think this is a case of Lexus actually listening to their customer base and their base (us) being so vocal about how incredibly annoying it was that we had to push that dopey button, EVERY freakin' time we started our car! Luckily, my map upgrade was free, but just making the "I agree" go away probably would have made it worth it to me to pay for it.

I am picking up my CPO 08 LS460 on Monday and as part of the negotiations I got the dealer to agree to upgrade the nav maps to the latest version. As I do not have access yet to the owners manuals and I want to ensure the upgrade was performed before the money changes hands, how do I check the map version? Thanks!

Congrats on the purchase. I believe that you just go into the audio menu and HDD (Hard Drive). There is a button that says HDD Data. Once you touch that, it will tell you which version you're running. 11.1 is the most current version.
