How To Unplug Mark Levinson Sound System? (White Noise/Popping)
Hey Guys,
So out of the blue my LS430 sound system began to pop and crackle, and it's consistently gotten worse over the past 2 days. Now it's just a steady stream of white noise and popping.
It's so bad that I dread taking my car anywhere because even when I turn the radio off (by pressing the volume ****), the white noise/cracking/popping is STILL there.
Anyway, I've seen people post regarding this issue but I haven't really found a resolution to it. At this point, I just want to stop the noise and then I'll research how to fix my radio and replace any parts so its usable again using this thread:
https://www.clublexus.com/forums/ls-...nd-part-s.html
At this point, I just want to know how to completely stop the noise. Has anyone encountered this and been able to stop it?
Many Thanks in advance.

The noise is coming from either the amplifier or the radio.
Refer to the drawing below, start with killing power to the amplifier by pulling the "AMP" fuse in the trunk fuse box (see circled in red). Verify if that stops the noise, if not...
Pull the "RADIO" fuse in the passenger-side fuse box (see also circled in red).

It worked! Silence is golden. Thank you so much for taking the time to write, I really appreciate it.
I guess the follow up question is: Does this mean that my amp is toast? Or could it be something else?
Thanks again!
